Seed Rate:

• 8 kg for single seedling.

Seed Treatment

• Seed treatment with Panchagavya @ 1 % (overnight soaking and shade dry) followed by treatment with Bacillus subtilis @ 10 g/kg, Azospirillum @ 30 g/kg and Phosphobacteria @ 30 g/kg of seeds.

Nursery:

• Apply well decomposed FYM @ 1.25 kg / m ² or vermicompost @ 50 g/ m ²


• Neem cake @ 50 g/m ²


• Bacillus subtilis @ 10 g/ m ²


• Gypsum @ 100 g/ m ² at 10 DAS .

  Pest Management

Thrips and Green Leafhopper

• Basal application of neem cake @ 50 g / m2
• Maintain thin film of water
• Submerge the infected crops intermittently for one day
• Drag a wet cloth on the seedlings
• Foliar spray of NSKE @ 5%
• Dusting the seedlings with wood ash at a rate of 0.3 kg/m2 in the morning
